Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona have once again proved that they are taking transfer businesses seriously after completing another major summer transfer deal. According to Fabrizio Romano, a trusted football transfer expert, the Spanish giants have finally wrapped up the Memphis Depay deal and the Netherlands international attacker has already finalized the deal with the club. Depay left French Ligue 1 side, Lyon, last season by mutual consent after insisting that he would not sign a new deal with the club with the idea of sealing a big move to a top club in Europe.
The terms of the agreement were already in place, with Depay agreeing that the contract would be one that would last for 4 years. Paris Saint-Germain were said to be keen to boycott the deal and hijack it from Barcelona, the same way they handled the Georginio Wijnaldum deal, but it looks like the French giants have conceded defeat this time around.
Depay to Barcelona is already a done deal and all that remains is for the player to put pen to paper and sign on the dotted lines so the deal can be made official. He is also expected to be unveiled as the club:s new signing at the Camp Nou but that will have to wait as he is still away on international duty with the Netherlands at the Euros.
